Koroma wins dash title
Merrimack’s Johanna Koroma lived up to her all-state placing with a win in the 55 meters with a sizzling 7.52 clocking.
The Bedford girls took fifth overall with 38 points. Bailey Carrillo was third in the 1000 meters at 3:10.96.
Sophomore Melanie Hutchinson took fourth in the 300 with a 43.86 clocking.Grace Corbett added a fifth in the 1500 at 5:04.37.
On the boys side, the Tomahawks scored nine points for ninth place.
Merrimack’s Brian Genet was third in 20-0.5.
Senior Devin Crowley took sixth in the 600 at 1:28.38, merely .01 seconds ahead of teammate Eljah Demeo. Sophomore Andrew Peyton earned sixth place in the 1000 at 2:46.68.
Sam Bailey was sixth in the hurdles, 8:48.
