Bulldogs tear it up on college diamonds
At Division 1 Bryant University, senior Nick Angelini is again tearing it up for the 17-10 Bulldogs.
An outfielder, Angelini has started all but one game and hits the weekend carrying a .319 average with five homers and 21 RBIs.
Sticking in the Division 1 ranks, sophomore Joseph Quintal has made four appearances for Fordham so far and owns a 1-0 mark with a 2.66 ERA.
Another former Bulldog ace, Geoff Mosseau is a freshman at St. John’s University.
At Division 2 Assumption, Patrick Harrington is already in the mix. The freshman righty has appeared in seven games with one start. He is 1-1 with a sizzling 1.17 ERA in 23 innings of work.
St. Joseph’s of Maine is off to its usual strong start at 14-6, and Bedford’s Grayson Jennings is again right in the thick of it.
The senior righty has made five starts on the mound, six appearances overall, and is now 2-0 with a 3.79 ERA. He has fanned 19 in 16 innings of work.
At Keene State, junior Ryan Linehan has played in 17 of the Owls’ 20 games. He’s batting .255 right now.
Sophomore Manny Ray has made five mound appearances with three starts for 12-3 Tufts University. The righty is 1-1 with a eight strikeouts and a 4.80 ERA in 15 innings of work. At Endicott, Cooper Annibal has worked seven times out of the bullpen, with the sophomore earning one save. Junior Connor Lee is 0-2 in three appearances for Bowdoin wth a 4.80 ERA.
Senior Ryan Lang is a backup catcher at Calvin College. Sam Sylvain is a senior in the bullpen at Castleton University.
