Vote Wendy Thomas
Merrimack voters, please join me at the election polls on April 13 to vote for Wendy Thomas for N.H. State Representative.
I’ve known Wendy for 24 years. I’ve known Wendy as a friend, as the working mother of six who understands the value of a dollar, as a volunteer at the Merrimack public schools, MYA mom, member of Merrimack Friends & Family service organization, Executive Director of NH Challenge, and a steadfast advocate for clean water, special education and those with Lyme disease. She’s someone who has always taken time out of her busy day to help someone in need.
Wendy’s understanding of politics and passion to help others came together when the PFAS water contamination issues were brought forward. Wendy was a founder of Merrimack Citizens for Clean Water, helped establish a Citizen’s Advisory Committee with St. Gobain and town leaders to plan corrective and protective action, and ran for State Representative in 2018 as a Water Warrior.
As a Representative, Wendy worked to clean our air/water. Wendy’s contributions helped advance a bill that was signed by Governor Sununu limiting maximum contaminant levels for PFAS in drinking water. Wendy worked on legislation signed by Governor Sununu for Lyme insurance coverage. Wendy worked on the budget that fully funded public school.
Wendy’s not done. She would appreciate your vote so she can continue her work eliminating PFAS from our air and water and protect our public school funding. Wendy’s 25+ years as a parent of children in public schools has given her the perspective needed to protect funds for Merrimack schools and special education without raising property taxes.
Merrimack and the State of New Hampshire need balance in leadership. We need someone who will protect our water, air, schools, budget, and NH Advantage. Vote for Wendy Thomas on April 13.
