Marion Grace Dadoly (Reilly)

Sadly, Marion Grace Dadoly (Reilly) passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, in Georgetown, Texas. She was born in Lowell Massachusetts on October 05, 1935.
Marion was the daughter of Edmund and Marion G. Reilly, of Lowell, Massachusetts. She grew up alongside her six siblings: Ruthy Bilby, Alice Young, Carol Lavallee, Robert Reilly, and David Reilly, Patricia Dias
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Dadoly, in 1986. Together they raised three sons Thomas C. Dadoly (married to Pamela), Dwain A. Dadoly (married to Gwen), and David J. Dadoly. Marion had nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren: Melissa (husband Braden; children Jacob and Noelle), Thomas R. (wife Jasmonae; son Emmarick), Alison (husband Conrad; children Rae and Amber), Devon, Buffy, Ryan, Alexandra, Nika (fiancé Hayden), and Gabriella.
Prior to getting married to Thomas, Marion acquired her Registered Nursing degree. As a result of marrying a career military service member, she spent her career working in several different environments in operating rooms, emergency rooms and various hospitals including a veterans’ hospital. She never sacrificed her time raising her three boys as she primarily worked the 3-11pm shifts. This also ensured that the boy’s father had equal time with them while helping her to provide for the family.
Marion’s adventurous spirit led her to live in many parts of the world throughout her life, including Massachusetts, Maine, Japan, Pennsylvania, Turkey, Maryland, Texas, New Hampshire and Florida. These experiences enriched her perspective and fueled her love for culture and exploration.
A first-generation foodie with a passion for discovery, Marion delighted in reading, big-screen movies, old theaters, musicals, antique and thrift stores, and dining out at restaurants. Her enthusiasm for life’s simple pleasures left an indelible mark on those who knew her.
Donations in Marion’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society by going to www.cancer.org page and clicking the “Give in Honor and Memorial” tab.
May she rest in peace surrounded by the love she generously gave during her lifetime.
