Anthony Thomas Tochko

Anthony Thomas Tochko, 84, resident of Brookline, NH, passed away in his home on December 4th, 2024.

He was born in Meriden, CT, on October 27th, 1940, a son of Anthony and Stella Tochko.

In addition to his parents of Meriden, CT, surviving family members include his wife, Josephine Tochko (Fontana) of Brookline, NH; his daughter, Patricia Greywacz of Buffalo, NY; his granddaughters, Candice Thibodeau of New Ipswich, NH, and Charlotte Greywacz of Buffalo, NY; his sister, Barbara (Tochko) of, RI.

Anthony was preceded in death by his daughter Elizabeth Hardwick of Milford, NH, and his sister Mary Tochko of CT.

Anthony graduated from the University of Connecticut, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1965.

He moved to Joliet, IL, after earning his degree and then to Brookline, NH, in the early 1970s for aspiring career opportunities.

He was baptized as a Catholic and attended the 4pm mass every Saturday evening at the Saint Patrick Church in Milford, NH.

Some of his favorite hobbies included photography, bicycle rides around town, and traveling the world. Throughout his explorations, he was able to expose himself to exotic foods, various wines, and different cultures. This always intrigued him.

However, some of his most memorable excursions were nearby. He would often times take a journey down to MA, where he had his boat docked. This was his most prized possession. He loved whenever he could sail it. The ocean was his sanctuary.

Furthermore, he enjoyed crafting the ship model kits. His favorite one built was the Cutty Sark.

Most importantly, he valued spending time with his family. This was his true blessing in life.

There will be no services. Instead, his wife Josephine Tochko will be holding a celebration of life gathering. Information on that will be provided at a later date.
