Dolores “Honey” V. Leger, 88, lifelong resident of Milford, NH died at her home on Saturday, April 22, 2023 surrounded by her loving children.

She was born on April 8, 1936 in Milford, NH a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary Rose (Jacques) Calvetti.

Dolores was raised and educated locally and graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1954.

She worked for many years at UNH – Hillsboro County Cooperative Extension Service. In addition, she had also worked for a short time for the Milford School District SAU #40. She was a loving mother, loved to be outside, gardening, shoveling snow and at one time loved to cross country ski.

Dolores was a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, NH.

She was predeceased by her husband, Rene T. Leger in 2005.

Family members include her two children, Craig T. Leger of Milford, NH and Kerry R. Leger Katra and her husband Michael D. Katra of Chandler, AZ.

SERVICES: A calling hour will be held on Thursday, April 27th from 9:30am-10:30am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst St, Milford, NH. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Amherst.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
