Marilyn Bartsch, age 86 of Milford, N.H., died Wednesday August 3, 2022 at The Elm’s Center, Milford, NH.

She was born May 19, 1936 in Fall River, MA. Daughter of Percy and Julia (Frazier) Barlow. She was a graduate of Durfee High School, Fall River, MA. Mrs. Bartsch was a resident of Somerset, MA for 46 years before moving to Milford, NH sixteen years ago.

Marilyn was a member of the Second Congregational Church, Wilton, NH. Previously, an active member of the United Methodist Church, Somerset, MA. Marilyn was preceded in death by her late husband, George (Len) Bartsch whom she was married to for 55 years; also, her son Eric (Rick) Bartsch.

For many years, Marilyn managed the billing accounts for Bartsch’s Service Station. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, sister and brother-in-law, the late Eleanor and James Ward of Fall River, MA. When not enjoying time with family, her favorite pastime was reading and solving crossword puzzles.

Marilyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Darcy Bartsch of Wilton NH; daughter-in-law, Lynne Bartsch of Swansea, MA. Her grandchildren include, Eric, Andrew, Joshua and Anna. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and best friend , Carolyn (Bartsch) and John Hinves and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held in Fall River, MA in the coming days. The family is requesting donations in lieu of flowers be made to the Second Congregational Church, Wilton, NH. P.O. Box 246, Wilton, NH 03086.
