Darlene Marie Gauthier (age 65), born on the bright spring morning of March 28, 1956 was the first child of Caroline Joan Smith (Bourgeois) and Rodolphe Alfred Gauthier. Those blessed to know her would attest her smile could fill a room and her laughter warm your heart. She lived her life with ferocity, kindness and her arms wide open. And, though her life was not short on challenges she rose above countless circumstances like the perennial that greets you over and over after the winter’s snow. She loved unwavering with both hands. She left this world on February 15, 2022 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer surrounded by those she loved. Survived by, wife: Cindy Nickerson, children: Amy Anderson(grandchildren: Josiah Anderson, Asa Anderson, Ethan Anderson), Emily Marchand (daughter-in-law: Wendy Marchand), Matthew Anderson (daughter-in-law: Holly Anderson, grandchildren: Brianna Anderson, Benjamin Anderson, Braeden Anderson), siblings: Jacqueline Rygiel, Rodolphe Gauthier Jr., Raymond Gauthier, the late Irene Gaumond, aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Service and reception will be held at the Milford VFW Post 4368, 1 VFW Way, Milford, NH on Sunday March 20, 2022 from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm. The family is requesting all attendees wear a mask.
