Janice B. Woodman

Janice B. Woodman died on January 24, 2022 in Manchester, NH. She was born in 1930 in Passaic, NJ to Harold S. Brown and Cecil Brown and attended elementary school in Brookline, MA and Barrington, RI. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire after spending two years at Boston University.
Jan loved to dance, read, knit and spend time with her family.
She was on the board of the then Souhegan Nursing Association and was a trustee at the Milford Library. After volunteering for 14 years at Milford elementary schools she moved on to substitute teaching in the Milford, Wilton, Brookline and Amherst districts.
Jan was a volunteer F.I.S.H. (Friends in Service Helping) driver for many years and also worked with the Girl Scouts and Brownies. She was an active member of the Unitarian Universalist congregation in Milford, working in and leading the craft group at their annual rummage sale and was on the church council.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 45 years, Rodney C. Woodman Jr. Janice leaves a brother Clayton Scott Brown and his wife Polly, her four children Cindy Green, Christine Noonan, Carol Woodman and James Woodman along with six grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Jan’s life will be held in the Spring.
