David E. Kregos
LYNDEBOROUGH – David E. Kregos, 46, died Jan. 16, 2010, at his home.
He was born in Manchester on Sept. 30, 1963, a son of Anthony Kregos, of Buckeye, Ariz., and Carolyn “Sooky” (Bullard) Yerger, of Lyndeborough.
David was raised and educated in Wilton and Lyndeborough and graduated from Wilton-Lyndeborough High School, class of 1981. Prior to returning to Lyndeborough several years ago, he had resided in California for 20 years.He had been employed as a machinist for Kerk Motion Systems, Hollis.
David was a sports enthusiast and especially enjoyed hockey and NASCAR racing. In addition, he was a member of TOPS in Milford.
He was a loving son, a devoted husband and father.
In addition to his parents, family members include his wife of 18 years, Donna (Higgins) Kregos, of Lyndeborough; two daughters, Bridgit A. Kregos and Valari A. Kregos, both of Lyndeborough; three sisters, Paula J. Nay of Bennington, Meg A. Lizotte of Claremont, and Kate L. Desrochers of Manchester; his stepfather, Charles Yerger, of Wilton; two nephews; three nieces; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours were Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 6-8 p.m. in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm St., Milford. Funeral services will be today at 10 a.m. in the Second Congregational Church of Wilton, corner of Dale and Gregg streets, Wilton, followed by cremation.
