4th of July Parade Information
Monday, July 4th – 1 pm
The Town of Merrimack’s Annual 4th of July Parade is organized by the Merrimack Parks & Recreation Department and is one of the larger Independence Day Parades in the State of New Hampshire. In 2019; we held the second largest parade in the State of New Hampshire; with more than 70 floats and more than 1100 participants in the Parade. The Parade features a wide range of bands, militia units, clowns, local businesses, community organizations and more.
Parade Route:
The Parade begins at the Commons Shopping Plaza (Tractor Supply) which is located at 515 Daniel Webster Highway. The parade travels south down Daniel Webster Highway. It then takes a right onto Baboosic Lake Road and travels past Mastricola School and then takes a left onto O’Gara Drive. The parade concludes in front of Merrimack High School. The entire route is 1.5 miles long.
Participate in the Parade:
Participating can be as easy as decorating a bicycle or a vehicle and just riding along or can be a highly decorated float. It is a great way to show your patriotism and get some free advertising for your business or organization at the same time! We want the parade to be a fun, family friendly event for all to enjoy and the more local groups that participate, the better! There is no cost to participate but advanced registration is required by Friday, July 1st, 2022.
If your group like to participate in this year’s 4th of July Parade or if you are interested in volunteering to help with this year’s parade. Visit https://merrimackparksandrec.org for more info.
