This was the second year that the Hollis Brookline Rotary Interact Club had the honor of volunteering with Special Olympics New Hampshire. Nine of the club’s members traveled to the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, June 3, with the hope of making a difference. The day was spent helping at bocce, track and award presentation events. Students were amazed by the gratitude with which they were received. The sportsmanship of these Olympians is something to behold. The students are looking forward to next year’s events.
