LYNDEBOROUGH – Two people have filed for a seat on the Board of Selectman, but there are no other contests on the ballot for voting on March 12. 

Incumbent Robert Howe is challenged by businessman and political newcomer Howard Ray 

No one filed for Budget Committee. Incumbents have filed for all the other positions. 

In the School District, incumbent Board Member Geoffrey Allen was to be challenged by long time resident and former teacher Phil Brooks. 

Brooks did withdraw his candidacy but it was after the filing period so his name will still be on the ballot.

No one filed for moderator, currently Walter Holland, or the Budget

Committee.
