DOE posts newly released statewide assessment data for 2021-22 school year

CONCORD – A detailed version of the statewide assessment data issued in July is now posted and available for review in two formats.

The newly published assessment results provide information at the state, district and school levels, whereas the figures released in July were showed results at the state level only.

The new data, along with that from recent years, can be viewed at www.education.nh.gov/who-we-are/division-of-educator-and-analytic-resources/bureau-of-education-statistics/assessment-data.

A note on the page that comes up suggests viewers click on the “iPlatform” link, which brings viewers to the school data transparency portal that opens user-friendly graphics of the assessment results.

Users of the data set can sort assessment results by content area, grade level, and student sub-group.

Student performance on the statewide assessment is measured across four levels of proficiency – below proficient, approaching proficient, proficient, and above proficient.

The statewide assessment data identifies the percentage of students in each school and district who scored at each level, as well as the total percentage of students who are scoring at proficient or better.

Statewide assessment results show that students increased their proficiency when compared against achievement levels in 2021, but performance still remains slightly lower when compared to 2019 pre-pandemic levels.

School and district report cards, which include the full academic assessment results and federal accountability data, will be released in November as part of the update to the state’s iReport system.
