Lyndeborough Community Day set
LYNDEBOROUGH – The annual Community Day will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., on the grounds of the Town Hall in Lyndeborough Center.
The Wilton-Lyndeborough Women’s Club is sponsoring their annual silent auction in the town hall, a sports equipment swap, a yard sale, and a steak barbecue.
The Lyndeborough Historical Society will join the Heritage Commission in offering an update of the new town history, a video being made for the fourth grade, upcoming programs and other projects.
Other town groups have been invited to participate as well.
The schedule for the event:
10 a.m.: The marketplace opens with a yard sale, sports equipment swap, and a quilt raffle.
Book sale sponsored by the J.A. Tarbell Library.
The Historical Society will offer displays and information.
11 a.m. – 6 p.m.: silent auction featuring donations of a wide variety of offerings from gifts to gift cards. Proceeds will benefit the Woman Club’s many projects such as the Christmas store, scholarships, and assistance to families in need.
5 – 6: p.m.: Steak Barbecue. Take out meals will be available.
