Spate of offenses leads to arrest

MILFORD – Police last week arrested a 30-year-old man with a last known address in Nashua alleging he committed a series of contempt of bail and harassment offenses over the past few months.

Sean J. Foote, who shows recent addresses of 12 E. Pearl St. and 54C Perham St. in Nashua, is charged with three counts of phone harassment and one count of contempt for violating a protective order.

One of the harassment charges, a Class A misdemeanor, alleges Foote sent a harassing text message to a woman; the other two, alleging Foote sent a harassing e-mail and a harassing text message to another woman, are both Class B misdemeanors, according to court documents.

The count of violation of a protective order, a Class A misdemeanor, alleges Foote violated the order when he harassed one of the victims through a text message.

Foote was originally held on $500,000 bail after his July 27 arrest, but was later freed on $25,000 cash bail pending a probable cause hearing in District Court on Sept. 14, according to court documents. Bail conditions state that he live at 12 E. Pearl St. and have no contact with either victim.

According to arrest logs, Foote was arrested in December 2010 by Nashua police and charged with being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon. Also, Milford police charged him in March 2009 with violation and contempt of a protective order after arresting him on a warrant.
