MILFORD – The Special Friends Handbell Choir will perform Christmas carols Saturday at 11 a.m. in front of JM Princewell and the River House Café on the Oval.

The 35 members of Special Friends are all individuals with developmental disabilities affiliated with St. Christopher Parish in Nashua. Led by Jeanne Polcari, music specialist at the St. Christopher School, the choir is comprised of adults from the ge of 20 to over 70, from Nashua, Amherst, Milford and other towns in the region.

Polcari, whose niece has with a developmental disability, began the choir as an activity for the Special Friends group that meets regularly at St. Christopher’s Parish.
